Terms of Service

Welcome to StorePix. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the StorePix service at storepix.app (the "Service"), operated by StorePix ("we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

StorePix is an AI-powered tool that generates promotional screenshots, marquee banners, and promo tiles for browser extension store listings (Chrome Web Store, Firefox Add-ons). You upload raw screenshots and extension metadata, and the Service uses AI to generate polished, store-ready marketing assets.

2. Accounts

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
  • One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

Merchant of Record

All payments for StorePix are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited("Paddle"), which acts as our Merchant of Record. When you purchase a subscription:

  • Your contract for payment is with Paddle, not StorePix directly.
  • Paddle handles all billing, invoicing, sales tax/VAT, and currency conversion.
  • Paddle will appear on your bank or credit card statement as the charge.
  • By purchasing, you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms.

Plans & Pricing

  • Free plan: 1 project, 3 generations per month. Preview only (watermarked). No downloads.
  • Starter plan: Up to 5 projects, 25 generations per month. Full-quality downloads.
  • Pro plan: Unlimited projects, 60 generations per month. Priority processing and higher-resolution exports.

Prices are displayed on our website and may change. If pricing changes, existing subscribers will be notified and changes will take effect at the next billing cycle.

Billing & Renewals

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly, depending on the option you select.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date.
  • Generation limits reset at the beginning of each billing cycle.

Refunds

Since StorePix offers a free tier to evaluate the Service before purchasing, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Refund requests are processed through Paddle. Contact us at support@storepix.app if you believe you are entitled to a refund.

4. Your Content

Ownership

You retain all rights to the screenshots, logos, and other content you upload to the Service ("Your Content"). We do not claim ownership of Your Content.

License to us

By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service (e.g., sending screenshots to the AI model, storing them in your project). This license terminates when you delete your content or account.

Generated assets

The AI-generated assets (screenshots, banners, promo tiles) created by the Service are yours to use for any lawful commercial purpose, including publishing on the Chrome Web Store, Firefox Add-ons, or other platforms. We do not claim ownership over generated outputs.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights
  • Upload malicious, offensive, or illegal content
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
  • Use the Service to generate content that is deceptive, misleading, or fraudulent
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without permission
  • Automate access to the Service beyond normal use (scraping, bots)

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The Service uses AI (Google Gemini) to generate promotional assets. Please be aware that:

  • AI-generated content may not always be perfect and may require manual review before publishing.
  • We do not guarantee that generated assets will meet specific store listing requirements.
  • You are responsible for reviewing and ensuring the accuracy and appropriateness of generated content before use.
  • AI results may vary between generations even with the same inputs.

7. Service Availability

  • We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with reasonable notice when possible.
  • We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StorePix and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Account Termination

  • By you: You can deactivate or permanently delete your account at any time from Settings. Account deletion is irreversible and removes all your data.
  • By us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice when reasonable.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which StorePix operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
